Here are our terms and conditions of business. They tell you everything you need to know about using our services.

Please take a few moments to read through the following important points before you register or make your booking.

Summary of the most important conditions

When you book a payment or place an order with FTT you are committing to the following conditions:

  • By clicking accept you are making a confirmed booking and committing to pay for your purchased currency.
  • Should you wish to cancel a booked payment or filled order, you will be liable for any fees incurred.
  • By making a booking, you are committing to send us your funds by the date agreed before we complete your payment or order.
  • By selecting the as soon as possible payment option, you are instructing us to convert and send your funds as soon as we receive your payment. If you select a specific payment date your funds will not be released until the date required.
  • Sending funds on time – If a specific payment date is selected then cleared funds need to reach our nominated account by midday on the selected date. If you select the as soon as possible option then we need to have cleared funds in our nominated account no later than three working days after the booking has been placed.
  • You must never use our services for anything we would consider illegal, fraudulent, any criminal activity or gambling services.

Our full conditions of service

Terminology explained:

We, our, us – FTT Global (FTT).

You, your – The customer (individual or business or partner) has registered with FTT Global.

Service – International payment, money transfer and all associated services provided by FTT Global.

Booking – Making a payment, order or request for service via our online booking system or telephone/email support desk.

Forward – Making a booking for a payment to be made in the future.

Order – Choosing a rate higher or lower than the current market rate. If this rate is achieved your exchange will be automatically carried out.

Accept – Action of accepting our offer of service by clicking an online button.

Payment – You’re booked request for a currency exchange and transfer of funds to be carried out on you behalf.

1. Registering for our service

By registering for and using the Service, you are ensuring that you:

  • Have full capacity and authority to make a booking.
  • Supply true and accurate information to FTT; do not withhold any information and fully meet any request from us for further personal or other information. Delays in responding to requests for information may result in delays to your payment for which we are not liable.
  • Are acting on your own behalf and not as an agent for any third party whose identity has not been disclosed to us prior to a booking being placed.
  • Make booking for non-speculative purposes only.
  • Shall keep any pin number or other security requirements of our website secure and secret at all times and take all steps to prevent their unauthorised use.

Money Laundering

  • You acknowledge and agree to adhere to all applicable Money Laundering regulations and commits, that you will, upon request, provide us with all information and documentation required under applicable law, rule or regulation (including the Money Laundering Regulations 2003).
  • Should the transfer of funds constitute a breach of any Money Laundering regulations, the client irrevocably agrees that FTT may retain any funds held in relation to the booking.
  • We will carry out security checks in line with our regulatory obligations. These are automated database checks of information about you held in public records. This is not a credit check, but will leave a soft footprint on your credit score. This will not affect your credit rating.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any application for registration at our discretion without explanation.

2. Making a booking

  • We reserve the right to refuse any booking or order at our discretion, without explanation.
  • We cannot provide the client with any market predictions or guidance on the consequences of a particular booking.
  • Clients must rely solely on their own judgement when making a booking and not rely on any advice from FTT.
  • The details of a booking or order will be confirmed in the booking confirmation provided to the client online and via email. This confirmation shall be conclusive evidence of the contract between FTT and the client.
  • Once placed, a booking or filled order cannot be cancelled or amended without the written consent of a director of FTT.
  • Upon receipt of the Booking Confirmation, the client must immediately inform FTT Global of any errors or omissions; otherwise the client is deemed to have accepted the contents of the confirmation and is committed to completing the payment or order.

3. Completing a booking

Once a booking has been made:

  • You are required to pay the full amount of the applicable currency plus any charges into our nominated account in cleared funds by the stated date and time following the booking being placed. If a specific payment date is selected then cleared funds need to reach our nominated account by midday on the selected date. If you select the as soon as possible option then we need to have cleared funds in our nominated account no later than three working days after the booking has been placed.
  • We will not make any payments to or on your behalf until all amounts due from you have been paid in full in cleared funds into our nominated account.
  • All payments due from you under these terms shall be made in full without any set off, counterclaim, deductions or withholding whatsoever.
  • Payments not received by the due date, may incur charges and interest at the rate of 3% above the Barclays Bank PLC commercial rate for the period, plus any administrative fees.
  • We may deduct any amounts required to satisfy any taxation liabilities, bank or other charges incurred, from any payments due to the client or their beneficiaries.
  • We will meet our obligation to complete your payment or order unless prevented by an act of public enemy, fire or other casualty, labour dispute, electrical shortage, failure of communications or other circumstances reasonably beyond our control.
  • All payments will be made using the fastest method available to FTT. We will not be liable for delays to your payments caused by local public, religious or banking holidays worldwide.
  • Some beneficiary banks may require specific currencies (USD)/(AUD)/(AED)/(CAD) to be routed via an Intermediary bank (corresponding bank) in order for the funds to reach the final destination. The intermediary bank may apply a handling fee before sending the funds onward to the beneficiary bank. The interim bank charge is not related to FTT Global and this is not a charge we have control over, therefore FTT are not responsible for absorbing these costs. 
  • We will not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising as a result or in connection with the provision of the service, unless caused by our wilful neglect. These include:  delay in onward payment due to the late arrival of funds, unauthorised use of the pin number or other applicable passwords, inaccurate information you may have supplied supplied.

4. Placing an order

  • Once an order has been placed, you are able to make changes to the order until it is filled (i.e. when your chosen exchange rate has been achieved).
  • Once the order has been filled, you are required to pay the full amount of the applicable currency plus any charges into our nominated account in cleared funds by the stated date and time following the order being filled. We need to have cleared funds in our nominated account no later than three working days after the order has been filled.
  • We will not make any payments to or on your behalf until all amounts due from you have been paid in full in cleared funds into our nominated account.

5. Making a booking for a forward

Once a booking for a forward payment has been placed:

  • You are committed to pay a 10 % deposit into our nominated account in cleared funds by the stated date and time following the order being placed.
  • You must pay the outstanding balance due, in cleared funds into our nominated account by or before the required date of the forward booking.
  • We will not make any payments to or on your behalf until all amounts due from you have been paid in full in cleared funds into our nominated account.

6. BatchPay service

Once BatchPay is a service used by your person or business:

You are responsible for filling out adding new beneficiaries

The spreadsheet of payments must be sent to [email protected] 48 hours prior to the payments are due to be sent

We will not make any payments to or on your behalf until all amounts due from you have been paid in full in cleared funds into our nominated account 

7. Communications

  • We will send you messages and information by e-mail, text or postings on the website (including confirmations, notices, information and other communications some of which may be legally binding). We will assume that you have received the communications within 48 hours of them being posted on to the website or sent to your specified e-mail address.
  • Telephone calls may be recorded by us for monitoring and training purposes.

8. Ending this agreement

  • We may immediately terminate these conditions (and all or any part of any booking or order and the provision of the service), without any liability to you if: • you breach any of the conditions (including non payment or inaccurate information supplied to us)
  • You are made bankrupt, go into liquidation or into administration
  • It becomes or may become unlawful for us to maintain any of our obligations under the conditions.
  • If we incur any liability or are exposed to any risk due to any of the circumstances set out above, we are entitled to use any funds you have provided to cover such liability or risk. We will return any balance to you.

9. Your personal information

  • We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and do not share your data with third parties without your permission.
  • If registered for FTT Global services via a third party partner they reserve the right to market directly to you.
  • All communications between your computer and us are encrypted using 128 bit encryption algorithm. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
  • We may use the information we collect from you to:
    • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you.
    • To carry out our obligations arising from any bookings, orders or services you have requested
    • To notify you about changes to our service.

10. General

  • These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you and FTT and supersede all oral communications and prior written terms.
  • If we fail to enforce one or more of these terms at any time this will not prevent us from enforcing them subsequently.
  • These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties irrevocably agree to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  • Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any liability for fraud, to which no limitation applies, in no event will our liability to for any claims, losses, damages, costs or liabilities however caused, relating to the service exceed in the aggregate for all claims arising in any calendar year a sum equal to the amount of any fees paid hereunder by the Client to FTT Global during that calendar year save to the extent that such limit is absolutely prohibited by law.
  • The Client will indemnify FTT Global against all costs, expenses, losses, damages and liabilities of whatsoever nature directly or indirectly arising from or in any way connected with any breach of or default under these terms by the client (including without limitation default in making payments when due). This clause will survive termination of the terms.
