If you’ve read our previous post on how to send a foreign currency payment, you’ll be pleased to know that receiving one is just as simple!
You may be paid in a foreign currency, receiving money from family overseas or invoicing clients abroad. With FTT Global, you can receive payments in up to 30 different currenciesand manage your currency exchanges from anywhere in the world.
How do I receive a payment from abroad?
Once you have registered with FTT all you need to do is:
- Login to your account and tell us the details of your currency exchange. If you’re happy with the current market rate, you can book the payment straight away.
- Select the account you would like us to send your purchased currency to or add new details.
- We’ll send you an email containing our bank account details and a unique reference code.
- Pass these details onto the person who is sending us your payment so they can make a bank transfer to us for the agreed amount.
That’s all you have to do!
As soon as your funds arrive we’ll send you a confirmation email and we’ll let you know again once we’ve sent your purchased currency to the bank account you’ve requested. Any time you want to view the status of a payment all you have to do is login to your account and you’ll find details of all current and historical payments under “Review Payments”.
