Day in the Life of Monique Oxley – FTT Global Payments SpecialistApril 17, 2014 10:35 am
Whether you’re new to FTT or a long-standing customer, it’s always nice to know a bit more about who’s behind the scenes and sending your international payments abroad!
Monique Oxley is FTT’s Payments Specialist and ensures all payments are sent on time, every time!
“FTT stands for Financial Transaction Technology and it really is our advanced technology that sets us aside from our competitors, allowing us to offer our clients a first-class service.
I will ensure your payments are sent with the correct details. For example, an IBAN number needs to contain up to 34 alphanumeric characters and is an extensions of your account number; whilst a SWIFT Code is between 8 and 11 characters and identifies a specific branch. It’s vital your payments are sent with the correct details or they will not credit the beneficiary account and we will have to wait for them to be returned to us”.
Monique’s top tips:
- If you’re sending Dollars to the United States you need an account number and SWIFT Code or an account number and routing number to enable us to send your money transfer.
- Our Currency Charts are a fantastic Tool that show you the current and historical Interbank Rates for the last year enabling you to see trends in the market and decide when to make your booking.
