1. What does FTT Global do? Top
 
  • We provide online FX and international payment technology free of charge to companies who have a client base in need of such services. We support the technology free of charge and our UK Based Payment Team manage the entire processing of the payment automatically.
  
 
2. How does FTT Global make money if everything is free? Top
 
  • We have direct access to the wholesale FX markets and can buy foreign currency at a better rate than most. We pass on most of this saving to clients by giving them a very competitive rate that will save them money compared to banks and currency companies. However, we do retain a small margin on each deal booked.
  
 
3. As a partner, how do I make money? Top
 
  • Clients are usually happy to pay a little more for a great service. We allow you (as the owner of the client relationship) to determine how much more the client will be happy to pay. We limit this to ensure that the client never ends up paying as much as they would through other channels.
  
 
4. How does FTT provide such great exchange rates? Top
 
  • We are electronically linked to the FX markets and have a number of partner banks willing to trade with us electronically. These facilities are usually reserved for the largest banks and hedge funds but thanks to our unique business model, our partner banks and liquidity providers have made an exception for FTT Global.
  
 
5. How long will it take to set up? Top
 
  • The technical integration and configuration of our system is simple and takes a matter of hours. We like to spend a couple of day testing to ensure your logo scans correctly across our site but this is just a precaution. It is up to you how you lead your clients to your FX solution. Some of our clients place a web-page on their Website and market the service on their homepage. Others integrate us within a Members area or Portal Page.
  
 
6. What do you mean by "Online" or "Offline" Solutions? Top
 
  • It is your choice whether you have your clients deal directly on your White-Labelled FX Platform (Online), or whether you take orders over the phone and manually enter the deals yourself in the IPG that we provide your internal staff (Offline).
  
 
7. Do I need to be regulated?

  • No. There is no regulatory requirement for you as you are technically an Agent of FTT Global and are marketing our service. In November 2009, our industry becomes FSA Registered and at this point we will register all of our Agents with the FSA. We will manage this process and have responsibility to do so.

8. How does a deal actually work in practice for my client if online?

  • Your client will login to your FX Platform. They will enter the deal requirements in the platform. The platform will then get a live tradable price from one of our providers. The Client can then accept the deal and set up the bank account details of where to send the bought foreign currency. The platform sends the client a Deal Confirmation email with details of where to send their home currency (GBP in the UK for example). The client sends us their home currency and we send on the foreign currency the same day.
  
 
9. How does a deal actually work in practice for my client if offline? Top
 
  • Your client will call you to book a deal. You will enter the deal requirements in the platform. The platform will then get a live tradable price from one of our providers and you inform the client of the rate. The client can then accept the deal and you can set up the bank account details of where to send the bought foreign currency. The platform sends the client a Deal Confirmation email with details of where to send their base currency (usually GBP in the UK for example). The client sends us the home currency and we send on the foreign currency the same day.
  
 
10. What are the maximum and minimum amounts that can be transacted through the system? Top
 
  • You can trade any amount from £100 upwards. We will discuss with you what is a sensible upper limit for your clients but in general we have no restriction on amount.
  
 
11. What services are available?

  • Our FX Platform offers Spot FX Deals, Forward FX Deals and FX Orders. The Platform also can hold limitless bank account details of where funds are to be sent and has a strong reporting set of tools for clients to track past and current payments and orders.

13. Is my client's money safe with FTT Global? Top
 
  • Your clients funds are very safe with FTT Global. Our accounts are held with Barclays Bank Plc. These are "Segregated Client Accounts". This gives client protection if anything were to happen with FTT Global as a company. We also have insurance through an A-rated Insurer. This protects clients against negligence or fraudulent conduct of FTT Global.

  • We understand that you are offering a service that relies on us to fulfill the promises your make to your clients.
